Quinta do Lago
| Length 5787m par72 Founded 1987 Handicap Limits Men 28 Ladies 36 The old B & C. Used seven times for the Portuguese Open, this course favours the long hitter but requires good course navigation to score well. Both nines are anti clockwise but the first favours a good draw and the second favours a fade from the tee. Holes 3, 5 and 17 feature lakes which must be negotiated. Holes 8, 10,15 and 18 are the most testing for the scratch player. While holes 2,3,5,12,13 and 17 offer the best birdie chances. From October 2000 Quinta do Lago and Ria Formosa will have different green fee rates. Due to a new system at these courses it will not be possible to guarantee absolutely which of these two courses will be played. To simplify our own system we will charge the same rate for both courses and the players will pay a Esc 2,000 supplement at the course if they play Quinta do Lago.

|
Ria Formosa
| Length 6205 par 72 Handicap Limits Men 28 Ladies 36 The old A & D. This course has four great par 5s all requiring power and accuracy- and providing superb views. Watch out for the wind on the par 3s - 14 is outstanding. The par 4s are doglegs except for 10 and 13 and require precision driving. Beware of the magnetic lakes on 13th and 18th. Due to contracts will local hotels, resort complexes and members, these two courses are heavily booked until the contract release dates - which means that we cannot obtain a confirmed start time until two weeks before play. It is not advisable to book groups of more than 12 players in peak golf months on Quinta do Lago or Ria Formosa. Two tee starts from both nines except in June July and August.

Pine Cliffs
| As its name suggests this little nine hole course has been built on top of the cliffs of the Acoteias area, amongst the natural pine forests. The 9th hole played from a tee on one side of the cliff over a huge cavernous drop to a green on the other side is particularly stunning. The course is set in the grounds of the Sheraton Hotel and may be booked as 9 or 18. In peak hotel season it can be difficult to get confirmed starts.
